I love permanently borrowing things from my husband's closet. These cufflinks are my most recent acquisition :). I wore this outfit earlier today when the weather was a bit windy and gloomy. Wearing bright colors when it's gloomy out always makes me feel better. Anywho, I hope you guys are having an amazing weekend! The weather is brightening up, so I might hop on over to the beach for some me time.

I just love your style it is so fab! I am in my first year of law school and looking at the way you put pieces together gives me inspiration on what I will be able to wear at my clerkship. You'll definitely have to be a little more conservative for your clerkship, but keep your outfits interesting by selecting fun colored silk blouses to wear underneath your conservative suits. Also, mix it up by selecting conservative yet funky heels (think black pumps in an exotic skin or suede). I'm sending you lots of positive energy. Congrats on your clerkship and career!

Hi, Thanks for documenting your style :) It gives me new hope for what I can wear to work. Where I live, it is Mon = black suit, Tue = grey suit, Wed = black suit + blue shirt, REPEAT CYCLE. So terrible!
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind me asking, but what size pants are those wonderful pink ones? I think I am about the same size as you, but I keep getting burned with online shopping... not being able to get the pants over my thighs...
These pants were a size 6. I still needed to alter the waist and the hip area, but it was worth it. I always buy slacks a size or two bigger. Then, I go to my seamstress for the necessary alterations. It requires a little more work but at least your guaranteed the perfect fit.
