Grey and Plum Me



Jacket: Forever 21, Blouse: Forever 21, Pants: Zara, Shoes: Coach, Bag: Fendi, Sunglasses: Gucci, Ring: Forever 21












I wore this outfit to Miami's Bal Harbour Shops. If you aren't familiar with Miami, Bal Harbour is the place to go to find all the super high-end retail stores. Cesare Paciotti, Celine, Tiffany & Co., Cartier, Miu Miu, Fendi, YSL, Hermes and so much more. They are all packed into this center for your shopping enjoyment! Even if you're not in the mood to plop down your debit card, it's still a beautiful place to hang out. The window displays are absolutely amazing and there are a ton of great cafes to sit and people watch. There's even a koi pond there to help you calm down from that sticker shock. LOL

Now, on to the outfit. :) I found these pants at Zara. They are such a great option for days when you don't want to wear jeans. They're almost as stretchy as leggings, but the material is solid enough to ensure that your undies won't be making any unwanted special appearances. I paired these pants with my favorite plum blouse from Forever 21. I've had this blouse for almost two years now and I still can't get enough of it. I've worn it under a suit for work, off the shoulder with my ripped jeans, as a beach cover-up (scandalous, i know lol), and asymmetrical with shorts. No matter what the pairing, it always manages to look great. I guess you can find some forever pieces at Forever 21 after all? Are any of your Forever 21 pieces playing leading roles in your closet?

  3. oh me oh my!!!! how I love shops at Bal Harbour smh..... they dont play with those prices either whew lol!!!!! love the plum and grey with the snakeskin offset!!! I love forever 21, but they dont love my curves to much lol!!!! I do have this bad kick ass jacket with shingles that I am going to wear until I am 80 yrs old whew!!!!!

    1. No, they do not. Sometimes they quote a price and I really have to stop myself from laughing. It's a beautiful place though. :)

      Forever 21 pants don't love my curves either :(

  4. I love those pants. I need some like that because sometimes jeans are def not it. And those shoes ♥ : I didn't even know coach made shoes like that!!

    F21 is a hit & miss store but they do have some nice pieces. Some of my favorite blouses are from there and my fave thing is my faux-fur vest that I love to DEATH! I have a few on in my blog posts.

    1. I know right! I usually find myself passing right by the Coach section because of their little issue with monogramming every part of a shoe or bag. But, these were too gorgeous to pass up.

  8. You mix high and low end items so well! Kudos! I do love my classic more expensive pieces but tend to wear Forever 21 dresses and tees alot in the Summer when I am just hanging out or going to the beach.

  11. Very pretty and casual look. I love it. I actually love plum and mustard together. Very pretty but still laid back. I also definitely have some forever pieces from Forever 21. Some of my best buys are from there I'm just very careful with them since I feel they will break apart on me. You look great as u-su-eel.

  20. I have the hardest time finding "forever" pieces at Forever 21. It seems like all of their blouses are sheer or see-though. I prefer my blouses to be solid or at least with lining. Is that the case for this blouse?
