Florals are a big trend for Spring 2012. Top designers like Erdem and Dolce & Gabbana have been showcasing the most amazing floral pieces as part of their spring/summer 2012 collections. And as you already know, if the premier designers are showcasing it, retailers like H&M, Forever 21, and ASOS are recreating it. This means that if you aren't already up to your elbows in floral print options, you're about to be.
Now, I know wearing head-to-toe floral print isn't everyone's cup of tea, but this trend is right up my alley. I love pretty and girly things, especially clothes. I'm talking full skirts, bows, ruffles, delicate fabric, and yes, head-to-toe flowers. For those ladies who aren't quite ready to hop into the floral deep end with me, have no fear. You can opt for one floral piece and anchor the rest of your outfit with a complementary solid color separate. Get ready for floral overload ladies, and I for one am loving it.

DeleteI must say I'm not a huge fan of florals for myself. But, they do look great on you. I love how you show a bunch of different florals on different celebs/models too. It really helped convince me to maybe give florals a try. :-).

I really like how the black grounds the bright floral design and makes the look very wearable. I'm not brave enough to go full-on floral, but you pull it off well! Maybe I'll try a printed pant with neutrals like Joan Smalls (I think that's her) in the 2nd celeb inspiration pic. Maybe :-)
