Double Duty: Floral Dress

Dress: Zara (HERE) (Similar) (Similar and $28)
Denim Jacket: Levi's
Shoes: Bakers
 Clutch: Target
Necklace: TJ Maxx
Bangles: Bijoux Jewelry (Miami)
Watch: Michele

Cardigan: Banana Republic
Belt: Ralph Lauren
Necklace: Gift

Here's another double duty outfit. I wore this dress with the belt and cardigan to a charity board meeting. After the meeting, I switched into my denim jacket and sparkly necklace for a dinner date with my husband.

I L-O-V-E denim jackets! I've had this one since my high school days and I really can't see myself parting with it - ever. Over the years it has been paired with plaid skirts, wide-legged jeans, and tights.  More recently, I've been pairing it with pretty dresses to add some contrast. Are any of you still in love with denim jackets?

BTW: We ended up going to City Hall Restaurant, which is fast becoming one of my favorite places to eat in the downtown Miami area.

Happy hump day! And, thanks for reading!

Jillian

  4. Gorgeous! I am so inspired by how you style florals, and I really like how tailored this dress is. And don't get me started on denim jackets, especially in a light wash...I have a vest I'm in love with, and I'm still on the hunt for the perfect jacket.

  28. Love the dress, and the shout out to the ever-so-necessary denim jacket! I've worn my favorite H&M denim jacket to death over the last 12 years - even though the elbows are now down to the threads.
Loving the blog, especially the double-duty posts, and that you're repping well for us Miami stylistas. Good stuff!

  31. I love the dress, the first pics looked so bold and flirty, but then I had to laugh when I saw the cardigan+dress pics. The comic geek in me immediately thought I was seeing after and before pics for a super hero's alter ego. LOL It's amazing how just a few accessory changes can totally change your look.
