The Simple Things

I wore this outfit on a date with my husband. We were celebrating our 11 month wedding anniversary so I really wanted to wear something that he'd love. My husband, like most men, loves simplicity in fashion. He really doesn't understand why I insist on mixing every color in the rainbow together into one outfit, why I think polka dots and stripes go together, or why I insist on dressing like a highlighter. So, when I really want to WOW him, I know a simple little black dress (LBD) will always do the trick.

This ASOS dress fit the bill perfectly. It's simple, but oh-so interesting. The midi length and well placed cut-outs makes this dress stand out from the crowd of LBD's out there. I think this dress is a great reminder that simple doesn't have to mean boring. LBD's are definitely simple but can always be spiced up with detailing and jewelry.

So this post is dedicated to simplicity and all the beauty that it holds!

      I love street vendors - they're always willing to drop the price :).

Usually when I see this style of dress I cringe because I would never purchae one due to me looking a little less than classy, but you have given me a different perspective.
