Father's Day Gift Idea: Hermes Tie

Father's day is rapidly approaching!  If you're still looking for that perfect gift for your special guy, a Hermès tie could be just what the father's day doctor ordered. For many of us ladies, the word Hermès elicits thoughts of Birkin bags, Kelly bags, and really cute belts.  But for men, it's all about the ties. And who can blame them! Hermès ties are amazingly well-crafted. Not only are they 100% silk, but they come in such an array of designs and colors that you're guaranteed to find one that will be perfect for your guy. Select a classic blue or red striped tie for the guy who's all about business. Or, opt for a whimsical tie decorated with umbrellas or sailboats for the guy whose personality is a bit more playful. Either way, these ties are sure to make a statement.

Though Hermès ties are gorgeous, at $195 they're definitely not cheap. Since they're such an investment, I usually scoop these up to commemorate special moments in my husband's life.  If your guy isn't big on ties, Hermès also carries gorgeous leather belts, shoes, cufflinks, and other knick-knacks. Though you can order the ties on-line at HERMES.COM, I'd recommend going into the boutique to see a wider selection.
