Hey Loves!!!
A great line-up of wrap dresses is a must-have for a working girl. Not only are they a quick and easy way to look pulled together at the office, they also make your body look amazing. And if that's not enough, you can easily put a personal touch on your wrap dress by adding layered necklaces, brooches, a belt, a blazer, or a scarf.
If you're in the market for a wrap dress, here are some things to keep in mind.
- Don't splurge on a Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress if your budget cannot accommodate it. Though Diane von Furstenberg dresses are king in the wrap dress world, there are tons of equally flattering and moderately priced wrap dresses out there.
- Do shop at ANN TAYLOR and BANANA REPUBLIC for your wrap dress. I've had some amazing luck finding wrap dresses that have stood the test of time at these stores.
- Do pay attention to the fabric of your wrap dress. You want your wrap dress to be of a more substantial material. Too thin and you'll end up showing way more than you intended to.
- Do purchase your first set of wrap dresses in solid colors that you will love to wear long term. After that, have fun exploring some patterned wrap dresses that speak to you.
- Do get used to seeing and remixing these wrap dresses. Because, if you play your cards right, your wrap dress will be with you for a very very very long time. I kid you not, I've had some of mine since college!
Happy Shopping Loves! And, please let me know some of your favorite spots to scoop up your wrap dresses.
P.S. Thank you for all of your birthday tweets and comments. I appreciated each and every one of your special thoughts.

I love the shape/cut of this dress! Most wrap-style dresses don't flatter my lack of curves, but this kind of non-traditional one might work for me. I actually just posted about my fave Atlanta area consignment boutique and included a pic of a classic Banana Republic wrap dress that one of my friends scored. Great minds, Jilian! :-)
