Hey Lovelies!
Remember my posts from the last couple of Fridays?
You know– the one’s where I went on and on about skipping work and enjoying
some much needed “me time.” Well those days have come back to bite me firmly in
the behind. All that “me time” last week has led to me having no time for
myself this week. I’ve been a prisoner to my office and my work clothes. So, I
hope you don’t mind, but this week on the blog is pretty much all work and no
play. This is the outfit that I wore to work yesterday.
Since my office feels like a meat locker on most
days, I’m always concerned with staying warm. Though cardigans are my go-to for
dealing with the frigid temps, I also like layering my work dresses over silky
long-sleeved tops. I usually do this when there’s some element on the dress
that I really couldn’t bear covering up (in this case it’s the pleated
bodice). With this option, I get to show
off my dress without freezing to death.
On another note, I’m sure you guys have noticed my
extra long locks recently. I’m wearing extensions as a protective style and
thought I’d go extra long. However, I’m starting to regret that decision. It’s
just way too hot for all this hair. So, it might be going bye-bye in the near
future. It was fun while it lasted though.
Love,
Moi

You have inspired me to try more blouses under shorter sleeve dresses. Looking good here, classic and sophisticated.
ReplyDeletebeautiful honey love this work look. I would so rock this look if my office was a bit more stricter with their attire but everyone here is so lay back casual that whenever I do wear something different from the norm all the attention is on me.great outfit though and beautiful pictures!!

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous look. chic and professional.
ReplyDeleteI love the long locks but oh yeah with the heat it can be such a pain. I hope it cools down sooner rather than later.
ReplyDeleteNow, I know how to wear my sleeveless dresses. You look so chic!
ReplyDeleteI'm going on an interview and wondered what your take on wearing hosiery is for interviewing?
ReplyDeleteMy personal belief is I HATE pantyhose/stockings but go back and forth about whether it's still necessary on an interview. I usually opt for pants just to avoid the debate but thought I would ask you!
Thanks in advance!
