If you follow me on Instagram (nusophisticate), then you know that I spent the weekend chilling (literally) in New York. The hubs and I went there to hang out with his baby brother and his brother's girlfriend (two of the sweetest people EVER!). Though I've been to New York a few times, I've never really gotten the hype - until now. Something about stumbling upon a full band on a random subway platform, or navigating a shabby alleyway to enter into an opulent party really spoke to me.  I suppose the city just reminded me that there can be immense beauty in the unexpected. So, I wish you lovelies an abundance of the unexpected today, and all the days to come.
