I love winter coats! Admittedly, this is pretty weird considering the fact that I've lived in Miami for the majority of both my adolescent and adult life. However, I think my affinity for winter coats started when I moved to Michigan for grad school. I initially moved in the dead of winter with only one leather jacket to keep me warm. After my first day of freezing my buns off, I quickly began searching for a real winter coat. After I purchased my first coat, I never really stopped looking (and buying). This Zara coat is the latest addition to my wholly unnecessary collection of winter coats. The timelessness of the combination of a black coat with gold buttons was too gorgeous for me to resist. I can really see myself getting rid of all the other coats in my life and wearing this one until the seams come apart. I'm also in love with the exaggerated collar. Yep, this coat is what my dreams are made of right now. Now, all that's left is to schedule a couple more trips to the Northeast so that I can show it off.
