Hello Lovelies,
My first college job started with a bang and ended up a big disaster. After interviewing for weeks, I finally landed the highest paying work-study job on campus. I was so amped that I decided to celebrate by skipping out on work to purchase a new pair of celebratory shoes at my favorite consignment shop. When I arrived at work the next day, I was expeditiously ushered out of the door while my replacement was studiously working at {what was supposed to be} my desk. Needless to say, I learned some pretty strong life lessons that day. The first one was to ALWAYS take my responsibilities seriously - I felt like a real jerk that day. The second lesson was that I am a girl that will do the darndest things for the right pair of shoes.
Thinking back on it now, the shoes
Don't leave me hanging guys! What's the craziest thing you've done for a pair of shoes?
Love,
Jillian

You look amazing I like the way you mix high end and high street. Please keep posting Jillian you are ever so inspiring. Even if you do not feel like commenting just a "look of the day" will do.
ReplyDeleteThe craziest thing I ever did for shoes was to go to a very much forbidden savings account (which I am never never never ever supposed to touch) and withdraw money to buy 3 pairs from my favourite website yoox. I had been looking at these shoes for 3 weeks and I just could not bear it anymore !!!! I did feel a twinge of guilt though !!
U look stunning !!! Simplicity at its best and those shoes are everything :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing!! Those shoes omg!!
ReplyDeleteThis story is so funny! I can't say that I've gone to much extremes, although I love a good pair of shoes. I try to stay rational :)
ReplyDeleteThis look is fresh! New style post "ALOHA SPIRIT", on www.luxelobby.com!! Check it out!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe perfect combination of masculine and femininity! <3 You look amazing.

Wow bless u... at least you still have the shoes to look back on.
ReplyDeleteI once bought shoes a whole shoe size smaller than I am just to wear on the night out. I couldn't even walk at the end of the night but they looked soo cute!
They never got a wear again!

haha love the story. it's funny in london yesterday a company sponsored an event called last girl standing where 4 girls were competing for a pair of Loubies. the person that won ended up standing for 14 hours!!!! That is crazy!!!
ReplyDeleteFor me the craziest thing is cutting down my food alcohol etc budget to save up for shoes. bought myself some loubies for my birthday in august despite the fact I was going to grad school in sept. Although I'm now living the life of a broke student now, I don't regret it :-D
Love the entire look!!!!
