Work Your Style: Claudeen

Hello Loves,

Despite the fact that I'm still playing a serious game of catch-up at the office, I'm determined to keep the 'Work Your Style' features rolling. I really think it's important to highlight working women and their individual takes on being office chic. So, without further ado, here is Ms. Claudeen. Check out her workstyle and individual take on workwear below.

Love,
Jillian

Profession
I was a Paralegal in Indianapolis, IN for many years then I moved to Toronto, Canada and the legal field is somewhat different so my title now is a Legal Assistant.

Office culture:
Our law firm  is  business casual attire, but most support staff dress down a lot so most times it would seem as if I am almost too "dressed up".

Philosophy on work wear:
I enjoy working in an office where everyone is fly on any given day. I believe when you work in an office environment one should always dress appropriately no matter what your title is. If you feel like looking like a boss then feel free to dress accordingly.  We are often judged (rightly or wrongly) by the way we present ourselves so it is very important to dress professional in a work setting.

Go-to work outfit:
My easiest days are during the winter; I throw on a sweater dress and a pair of boots or pumps and its a wrap.

Thank you for sharing your style with us Claudeen!

  2. I love the way you add color to your outfits; the blue shoes in the first pic, the lime green skirt and the orange clutch in the other pics. Very nice.
